All you need to know about Purasmart

Why is Purasmart safer and more sustainable than other surfaces?

By incorporating up to 70% of recycled materials, such as glass, Purasmart achieves a significant improvement in the use of post-consumer content, simplifying and economizing the manufacturing process, and reducing the use of raw materials.

The use of recycled materials combined with a meaningful reduction in crystalline silica, Symphony EcoPress has the lowest environmental impact among the other engineered stones in the market. In comparison to traditional quartz surfacing, the generated breathable crystalline silica is reduced up to 70%, contributing to a healthier work environment.

In addition, nearly 100% of the water required in the manufacturing process is reused.

How does Purasmart achieve such great designs in a surface that is as easy to fabricate and install as quartz?

By using a patented printing technique and Nano-Ink Technology, Purasmart surfaces are a perfect representation of natural stone. This technology results in a unique surface with depth and clarity, high definition in every pattern, amazing translucency and authenticity. We bring a collection of patterns that have a translucency and asthetic equivalent to real marble. A new surface with no visible grain results in better light reflection and brightness than any other engineered stone currently available

Nano ink technology

How much does the Nano-INK penetrate the surface?

Nano-INK technology injects the pattern up to 1mm into the surface ensuring it will remain unchanged and stable over time

Is Purasmart stain resistant?

Purasmart has more stain resistance than quartz surfaces thanks to its Nano Enhancement of Surfaces (NEOS): a high-performance stain and substance repellent technology developed by our engineers. Invisible to the naked eye, NEOS has been scientifically formulated to produce a hybrid protectant with physical characteristics that resists staining, keeps surfaces clean and guards against everyday wear and tear. With NEOS, Purasmart is safely protected against most common household chemicals. NEOS protects Purasmart surfaces with a permanent bond which lasts forever, making our slabs the most durable product in the industry

What tools, glues and abrasives should be used to fabricate Purasmart?

Although Purasmart is not a common quartz surface because it only contains 20% quartz (versus 90% quartz surfaces), it is fabricated and installed just like any other quartz surface. Simple. Smart.

Can Purasmart be used outdoors?

No. Purasmart is solely designed for interior use and can't be used outdoors as its color may be altered by direct UV exposure. For outdoors you may select porcelain or some natural stones.
